Module Description:
There is clear evidence of the danger of mixing buprenorphine and benzodiazepines.  But many physicians prescribe them together and many more people use them without prescriptions.  How do benzodiazepines work and how does this impact the danger.  This module will review these topics and some of the literature on combining these drugs.  There will be a brief review at the conclusion on alternative treatments for the anxious buprenorphine patient.
