Webinar Description:
This webinar discusses multiple aspects of medication misuse and diversion with a focus on risk factors at the patient, provider and public policy level. It compares rates of diversion and misuse of buprenorphine to other pharmaceutical products such as antibiotics as well as other opioids, describes the role of opioid pharmacology in misuse, and reviews consequences of these behaviors and strategies to mitigate them.
